Of course, Hedeker Law (the law firm that powers Cut Your Tax) has always protected your right to privacy with professional standards that are even more stringent than those required by law. In order to assist you with your professional needs and, in some cases, to comply with professional guidelines, we retain records relating to the professional services we provide you. We have rigorous physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in place to protect these records, and they are accessed internally only on an ‘as-needed’ basis.

Permitted disclosures include third parties who assist us in providing services to you, such as CCH Incorporated, the vendor providing us with our ProSystem fx tax compliance software.

We use a third party to host the online portal on our site. When you upload or share documents on our site after you securely login you will be on our third party hosting provider’s platform. All information collected after you login is governed by our privacy policy.

We use live chat in order to assist you while on our site. If our live chat is offline we will ask for your name and email address so that we may respond to your request.

The servers that store the information on our service provider’s Site are kept in a secure environment.

We have no way to secure personal information sent via e-mail because this information can be accessed by other users on the Internet. If you send us e-mail to ask a question, we will only use the information you provide to answer your request.
